If your question is not listed, please check here first before asking it here.

Is this site an actual book club?
Yes and no. In a book club, there's normally a book assigned and then people come together and discuss it. That is what Book Club Circle is. The Staff chooses the book for the month and if you want to participate in reading it, go check it out at your local library or borrow it from a friend or purchase it at a bookstore, then make sure you join 'Book Club Circle.' It is not mandatory to read the book of the month, however, it is there for those who want to read and discuss. It is also fine to just come and discuss any YA book that you want and not participate in the book of the month.

I'm new to the forum, how do I post and create topics? I'm lost.
No worries. If you're new and have never been a part of a forum, read the Guide for New Users. It will tell you all you need to know about navigating the forum.

On other forums I'm on, we have ranks. What are the ranks here? Do we have any?
As of right now, we do not have any ranks. The staff is currently working on some and we're sure everyone will love them. Once they are completed, everyone will be notified.

What are ranks?
Ranks are little statements underneath your forum username. They change with your post count. The more you post, the higher your rank goes.

I want to be an admin or mod. How do I become one?
Well, as of now, the positions are filled. Once a position opens up, everyone will be notified. If/When a space opens up for a moderator, you will be required to submit an application. Admin positions will only be available for moderators. No member will be promoted directly to Admin. Keep an eye on the Newsletter and also on the scroll bar at the top of the page.

Do you tell us about the current and upcoming book releases?
Yes. All book releases we find will be listed here along with any other updates we have on books. This area is called the Bulletin Board and it's where you should go to see any book updates.

How do I get to the bulletin board?
There are links on both the Homepage and the forum. Just keep an eye on the scroll bar and also look at the header underneath 'Young Adult Book Club.'

I want to make a suggestion for the site/forum. How do I do that? Is it allowed?
Of course. Visit here to make your suggestion. All suggestions are talked about within the staff and we will do what we can.

My signature won't show up, why is that?
This is because your preference is not to attach your signature. To change this: Go to Profile>Preferences>Scroll down until you see 'Always Attach Signature'>Click 'Yes' and it should show up.

I want to be a reviewer, how do I apply?
Go here and fill out the application then send it to an administrator.

The book I want to discuss is supposed to be a series, but there's only one book out right now and no information on the next one. Where should I put the topic?
Books. Once you learn more information (as in a cover or description of the sequel) please post it in Books. It will be moved to 'Book Series' when there is more information.

I can't post the picture of the book I want to discuss. Does this mean I can't post the topic?
No, but please contact an admin or mod and they will get the cover(s) for you.

I can't post in 'Book Club Circle.' What's going on?
You must be a member of the usergroup for Book Club Circle before you're allowed to post.
Remember, if you have a question that isn't listed, check here first before asking it here.
